The Department of Justice, Law and Public Safety Studies at Lewis University has a rich tradition of serving the educational needs of local law enforcement professionals in both undergraduate and graduate education. The Master of Science in Criminal/Social Justice was first offered in 1974. Today our alumni hold positions as numerous Chiefs of Police and Police Superintendents serving major metropolitan areas throughout the country. With a commitment to serve a broader constituency, our current programs include both academic and practical studies to prepare students in the fields of criminal/social justice and public safety.   We currently offer the following programs:
